We do not offer refunds but we do offer dealer credit on all unused and sealed returned items.
Defective or Damaged Goods
Repairs and Warranties
If your goods turn out to be defective within the first month of you receiving them from us, Megadent CC will repair them, replace them or give you a refund. Products may be returned via courier at the customer’s own expense or alternatively, Megadent CC can help you to arrange for collection. Please note that it may not be possible to determine online/telephonically whether goods have been damaged and/or what the cause of a failure or defect might be. This is important as it determines whether the goods may be repaired, replaced or refunded. Accordingly, Megadent CC reserve the right to refer returned goods for technical assessment by the manufacturer or authorised service centre prior to repairing, replacing or refunding and to provide you with feedback within 10 days of receipt of the returned goods and to act accordingly. Megadent CC may arrange for the assessment to take place at your home in the case of installed equipment.
If your goods show a defect after the initial 6-month period, but still within the manufacturer’s warranty period, Megadent CC will send the goods to the manufacturer for repair and the manufacturer will decide whether you have a valid claim and if so, whether they will repair or replace the goods. If the goods become defective once the manufacturer’s warranty has expired, Megadent CC can arrange with the manufacturer or its agents to repair them. No repairs will be done without you approving a quotation first.
Un-returnable Items
Certain Products are excluded from the 7-day exchange or refund policy due to hygiene reasons, applicable legislation or for reasons of cost efficiency. The goods excluded from the 7 day return and exchange policy are:

Once Megadent CC have assessed a returned item and approved a refund, you will receive your money back in the same manner in which you purchased it from Megadent CC:
- Credit note
Megadent CC will refund a purchase for the exact amount paid less the following:
- Credit note,
● any delivery costs already incurred by Megadent CC,
Shipping policy
All orders are processed within with two working days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email.
Courier fees are at customers own cost. All courier pick-ups must be handled and organised by customer.
In-store pickup
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup Megadent Offices in Milnerton, Cape Town.
After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 2 business days. We will send you an email or sms when your order is ready along with instructions. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.
Our in-store pickup hours are:
- Monday – Friday from 08h00 to 17h00
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us.
To check the status of your order or delivery, please email megadent@iafrica.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
